EW-RJ45 Ethernet waterproof cable inline Data Communication
RJ45 network connector is a kind of information socket connector in the cabling system. The network connector consists of a plug and a socket, and the plug has 8 notches and 8 contacts.
Design Principles
The RJ45 consists of a plug and a socket, two components that form a connector between wires to provide electrical continuity of the wires.
The heart of the RJ45 module is the modular jack. The gold-plated wire or receptacle hole maintains a stable and reliable electrical connection to the modular jack shrapnel. Electrical contact is further enhanced with the insertion of the plug due to the frictional effect between the shrapnel and the jack. The jack body is designed with an integral locking mechanism so that when the modular plug is inserted, maximum pull-out strength is generated outside the interface between the plug and the jack. the terminal block on the RJ45 module connects the twisted pair cable through a “U” shaped slot, and the locking tabs hold the RJ45 module in place on information exit devices such as panels.
Pin Definition
There are two common types of RJ45 interfaces: the DTE (Data Terminal Equipment) type for Ethernet NICs, router Ethernet interfaces, etc., and the DCE (Digital Communications Equipment) type for switches, etc. When two devices of the same type communicate using an RJ45 interface connection, they must be connected using a crossover cable. If the DTE type interface and the DTE type interface are connected without cross-connecting the pins, the pins that are touching are data receiving (sending) pins and cannot be communicated. In addition: some DCE type devices will automatically negotiate with each other, when the connection with a straight-through line or parallel lines are available.
Role
RJ45 plug, also known as RJ45 Modular Plug, is used for the termination of data cables to achieve the connection and change between equipment, wiring frame modules. RJ45 crystal head requirements for good conduction performance; contact trident reed gold-plated thickness of 50μm, to meet the super Category 5 transmission standards, in line with T568A and T568B line sequence; with the prevention of loosening, plugging, self-locking and other functions.
RJ45 plug is the standard connector in copper cabling, it and the socket (RJ45 module) together form a complete connector unit. These two components make up the connector connected between the wires to achieve electrical continuity of the wires. It is also an integral part of the finished patch cord in integrated cabling technology, and the RJ45 crystal head is usually connected at both ends of the twisted pair cable. In the standard integrated cabling design and installation, this accessory product is usually not listed separately, which means that the user is not advocated to complete the connection work between the twisted pair cable and RJ45 plug by himself.
